I was taking a quick look through the forums! I was wondering if any of you guy's know where there are some salvage yard's that would sell whole wagons? I am really looking along the east coast because i live in new york. I am looking for a 66 thru 68 Chrysler wagon project car! Any help on some yard's would be much appreciated.;)

what is that website that pops up here sometimes where the guy is always selling project type cars? he has a nice site and some nice cars, i thought i had it saved, but cant find it.

seems like i emailed this guy one time and he had a chrysler wagon, but dont hold me to it. Hes about 45 mins south of me in a little town called Iva, SC. Im in greenville SC.

he has a plymouth wagon listed in running condition.

and further down he has a 58 Mercury wagon for parts, already stripped.

of course, it seems the west coast has more than their fair share of nice wagons, like this 66 Monaco in California.

1966 dodge monaco 9 passenger station wagon, LOADED! 440 magnum engine 375HP, power steering, power disc brakes (factory), power windows, power door locks, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, front and rear A/C (needs recharge), power antennae, tow package with cool EZ-lift system. In the past year the car has had: New front and rear shocks (KYB gas in front and air in the back), rear wheel bearings, re-bushed front sway bar, all fluids flushed and replaced (power steering, oil, transmission, differential, brakes were bled, cooling system flushed), new aluminum radiator, new aluminum water pump, thermostat, all belts, hoses, alternator was replaced, points converted to pertronix electric ignition, full tune up, new dual exhaust system with X pipe and quiet mufflers, manifolds have new gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, engine detailed.

Car runs great, drives straight and smooth, no weird noises or vibrations, even at interstate speeds, interior is amazingly nice for a wagon of this vintage, very stunning color combination. Few minor problems the car has: paint is thin, has some surface rust and a few pinholes in the rear quarters... PINHOLES, no major rust. wood siding is faded on drivers side, car still looks excellent when cleaned up. Front brakes are starting to act up a little, and i have dropped the price accordingly. I encourage anyone interested to come take a test drive, this is a fantastic car and will make the new owner very proud. I can be reached be e-mail, or give me a call 831 239 9985 (cell) or 831 423 6643 (home), my name is max, please leave a message if i dont pick up. i will send more pics and info upon request, thanks for looking!

I have this very cool 1966 plymouth fury III station wagon. It has a 318 and automatic. It runs and drives really good. It has AC that works. It is very straight. the car is very solid. It has new belts and hoses, a fresh tune up, change oil and tranny fluids. good tires. I'm selling it with the stock wheels. The aluminum wheels do not go with it. I bought it to haul my dogs and go to swap meets, but my wife hate this car. I'm going to sell it and put the money toward a truck. email me or call me at 509-999-5730

Seems to me a good, rust-free west coast car and a road trip will net you lots better results than a junk yard hunt on the east coast. Just my $0.02........

I am not a Mopar guy but i think that Fury wagon rocks!

My buddy had a 1968 Fury wagon. It was a dream to drive and was really sharp. Mopar had some awesome designs for cars in the 60's...

    will check it out though.

ive been using Search Tempest which is a tool made for searching craigslist, but after the first page or two, its like that oil change commercial with the car dragging the Anchor and the cops laughing at how slow they are going.

Here is a place in SC also called Classic Cars Of SC. This guy is a little high and has a lot of junk he thinks is valuable. But it might be worth a shot.

NC has a new law once it goes into a junkyard the remains has to be crushed, but I'm sure there is a way around all this.

    salvage yards

No MoPars, but in Delaware, Cairo's Recyled Auto Parts in Fieldsboro (302-398-9436) has several 50s Chevys wagons (and a Nomad), also a 63 Nova and a 69 Suburban. Probably the only rear wheel drive GM yard in the state. Jay
