No heater box. No Positrack unless you pay the $3500. Different way of selling a set of wheels.

No those are the previous two listings. The link Drg Rcr posted is the latest auction.

The 2 previous listings on eBay seem to have been won by the high bidder. I don't understand how this car keeps coming back? Did the 2 previous winners walk away from the car?? Things like this are why I am increasingly perturbed by eBay. As DR said..."I smell something funny here".

I've been shying away from Evil-Bay lately. It seems more and more scammers are posting bogus listings.

Serves eBay right...they have NEVER policed the site or helped people that get ripped off. Ever try to talk to a human there? Good luck.

:rant2: And the search function for Fairmonts is F'up now because recently some large companies have started marketing their parts, and they use a form on the page to determine if the part fits. Well the first car on many of these forms before you select anything is "Fairmont", so that page gets called up, even though the parts don't fit. So now when you search for Fairmont you get 7,000 or more hits, whereas in the past you'd be lucky to get 1000. F'ing useless.

Yeah, but I still think there's something wrong with the whole thing. It's sold twice with no reserve, gets re-posted and no explanation as to why. If it was a dead-beat bidder, I would think the owner would say that.

He's had a reserve on it. Both times the reserve was apparently met by the bidders. What I don't know is if the seller ended both auctions early before it sold because the bids weren't getting up high enough? Seems like after the first time you would just set your reserve up higher. Strange thing is both auctions ended at about the same price. I think his buy it now is $3500 or something.

$3499.99? Dunno. Is there anything particularly special about a fox 8.8" Trak-Lok rear end?
