Farewell to a vehicle with as much personality as a toaster.
    I won't miss it.

Wow I never did like them. Seemed more like a shrunken crossover than anything else.

It's only a matter of time and someone will open a restoration shop for them.

I have a female friend that owns a '03 model. She loves it. Yes they are boxy but it wouldn't make a bad daily driver, parts chaser, etc. They are quite roomy inside. If I was in the market for a daily driver I would actually look at one.

Eh,... I got one of these last year. It's a real puker, ( in a good way) even
if it is goofy looking. my wife likes it, it's fun to drive and it's the only one in town, heck,
for miles and miles. ( some of you are saying, "there's a reason for that...")
For the record, I do not like the Aztec, nor the Element,......

Now I like the cube it has nice curves to it and doesn't look like a box.

It sounds like a box on the road but has a great stereo so the wind noise is muted and the thing
becomes a boom box. These 'toasters' (A term I thought my niece coined) remind me a lot of a
cross between the old Kaiser postal jeeps and the postal step vans. I guess we went postal...
I inherited one of those surplus postal jeeps my dad had given my 4 older brothers for Christmas
back in 1976. they blew out the first two 4-bangers within months of owning it. $50 bucks later
and a future classic Chevy II had donated it's miserly dependable little 4 popper.

...and now, back to our post...

Never liked the Element. The Cube always gives me a little chuckle. Somehow it always make me think of Dr Seuss. Looks like its jumped right off the pages of one of his books.
