We had a little flurry activity today...it was actually very pretty.:p Big fluffy flakes, covered everything but the road. We were trying to get cars moved around in the driveway. Jimmy and I doing the towing, Hubby's freezing his fingers off attaching the tow rope, steering the towies. Then the only one that will start, won't:banghead3:...had to boost it with Jimmy. He goes to get in Fannie, forgot when he switched the doors he didn't attach it to the car...it fell off when he opened it :biglaugh:She's finally getting into the garage tomorrow. Hubby's done removing parts from the donor. Gotta get him out of the garage and back on Kijiji...the donor not hubby:rofl: Weather is suppose to be a little warmer tomorrow so might started with the xmas decorating outdoors after we get Fannie in the garage:D

We're way down in the Temperature basement at -14C, but it made it to -21C then warmed up. Walked the wife to the busstop. Cold, but no wind. Heck they even drove by with the sidewalk grader (42" wide blade) and cleaned off the sidewalks. Sometimes my taxes do work for me.:rofl2:

I believe ya Rev, hell your street must be the longest toboggan run in BC:rofl2:

I left this morning, no dout I was the oldest truck/car on the road today. Dam icey but I got to work....just to basicly have no work because:taz:.

I'm glad I had the truck backed into the drive way and had it in second, the colom on the 3 on the tree was frozen and I got to work with a 2 on the tree. No first and no reverse, It made parking interesting. A couple miles before I got home it freed it self up enouph for first gear. Who needs 4x4 when ya got old school 1965 engenering, the old truck just digs in and goes. I passed several newer truck even 4x4's in intersections because they had no grip.

Started snowing apx 9:AM and all hell broke loose, crashes every where and they closed the island highway for a few hours.

Go figure, we were so busy at work for the last few years that I loved this kind of weather because it was the only time I could stay home. Now I'm back to work for one week, and I'm not going in tommorow because no field guys are working means no work for me.

Well, I made two mistakes - umm, let's change that to miscalculations.

First one was I could tackle a swap of axle and all the appendages on the trailer in one fell swoop. Almost crawled to the house.

Second one was that we also got the snow Rev was playing in, and picked up a snow shovel just to get the snow off the deck steps I use to ge to the shop.

What I didn't bugger up on the first attempt I completed on round two.

Had to dig in to the wonder pills and if nothing else, I've slept like crazy. Surprised to wake up and find the rest of the house totally decorated. Every room has been Christmas'ized by the love of my life. She is a major domo Christmas fan.

Maybe, just maybe, tomorrow I can get back to the shop. I've got some measurement commitments to tackle, if I can climb the ladder to the wagon (it's on top of the hoist this time with the Chevelle underneath).

Geez, now I really feel like a DA. Again:banghead3::banghead3::banghead3:

And Rev, in Mission they got no snow on the ground that stayed. Don't know about you but we've got about an inch left, and a lot of ice.

Another 4 to 8 inches from this afternoon until tomorrow. But much warmer. We went from -22C to -4C today. AKA, FREAKIN' COLD to Bearable cold! Did you see that Calgary hit -31C and -40C with Windchill. David (wixom) got home in time!:biglaugh: He'd be singing soprano today!:biglaugh:
