Haven’t been here much lately, just been driving my cars. However, I have had the door latch fail on the drivers side rear door on my 70 Chevelle Wagon. When unlocked, operating the outside handle or the inside handle results in the door popping open to the first detent (as when the door is not completely closed), but it will not release all the way. Ive just fitted a new radiator to my 85 grand marquis and I&#039;ve got a leak from the transmission coolant connection. The connectors that rock auto supplied with the radiator are different from the connectors on the steel pipes.<br />

Has anyone come across this before?<br />

I did verify operation of the center latch when window goes down it actuates movement of center mechanism and allows the pull latch to move and begins to pull LH and RH rod assemblies however the RH and LH upper latches will not release.  The 2-way tailgate on my 95 Roadmaster opens fine, tailgate style but sags when opening door style.  I&#039;m told it can be adjusted at the 3 studs on the top hinge. (See photo)  Have any of you done this?  What&#039;s the procedure?<br />

Due to various electrical issues (and previous owners mess) I&#039;m undertaking the enormous task of re-wiring my car, although bit by bit and starting with the tailgate.<br />
<br />
There&#039;s an issue within the system somewhere although the motors seem to work ok when I put a powered probe to the terminals.<br />
Just for future reference, are these special motors or are they just a standard window motor with a specific end on them? I haven&#039;t tried yet but I assume I can disassemble them and refit the...<br />

When I was driving my vehicle in the rain today and when parked my vehicle today (&#039;91 Country Sedan). I went to turn off the wipers and they &quot;parked&quot; in an upright position on the windshield. This was before I turned off the vehicle.<br />

I ran them again and they have full range of motion. They just park themselves in the upright position when switched to off.<br />

What should I do? First time encountering this problem.<br />

I ALWAYS lock all my doors and double check this so what the hell?!<br />

I found out that when all doors are locked, the (manual) lock for my clamshell tailgate CAN be turned and, surprise, it opens (goes down) and people can go in and unlock all the rest of the doors. For the past 4 years of owning this car i always thought the tailgate...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The Oldsmobile 307 cui engine was used in many cars, and has perhaps gotten a rumor as an oil slinger.<br />
Actually, it&#039;s a nice sturdy engine with roller cam/lifters.<br />
The main problem with those engines is mainly sludge blocking off the return chanells in the head and even the valley pan. This leads to that the valves works in an oil bath wich in turn make the oil to run down the valve spindles and into the exhaust ports. <br />

Then the air injectors will be blocked, hence the air pump will work...<br />

Unfortunately I can&#039;t figure out how to remove the passenger side lens without breaking it.
