Unfortunantly, this one in Los Angeles isn't running but might be worth a look when you're there. If the engine and trans are in great shape, then maybe a local shop could get it back on the road quickly.

This ad is a couple months old so it may already be sold, but this 68 Chrysler wagon looks interesting
http://www.cbodydrydock.com/forum_viewtopic.php?9.89571

I own a 1968 Chrysler Town & Country station wagon, 9 passenger (with the 3rd row back-facing seat). I live in Plano, TX, or the North Dallas area. I am selling the station wagon (preferably local sale for quick cash) as it currently is. The interior plastics, vinyls and carpets, the exterior chrome and cosmetic pieces etc. are all mostly virginal and surprisingly have aged gracefully after 40 years, and 3 owners (I being the 3rd owner). Even the original headliner is still intact and looking good, just a sag in one spot. The drivetrain on this car is also very sound. As it currently is, it does not require a rebuild or anything major to be a startable, running car again. Only a new battery, starter, plugs and some fresh oil and gas are needed.

We bought a brand-new car, and so I stopped driving old Enoch. Then we moved, and he began sitting in our garage. This car has been a garaged car for a great deal of its lifetime, for sure. One day the starter went out and due to accumulating bills and expenses, we had to stop using the wagon and just put it to rest. A fresh set of tires would also be wise if you're planning to run it again soon, as the car has been sitting on the same set of tires now for a few years. This car is all original and has never been restored. This car has never been drag raced or driven at excessively high RPM or abused in any way. The car needs only a battery, fresh spark plugs and other standard repairs to start up and run again. He hasn't been started in about 6-8 months. This car has absolutely ZERO cancer or serious rust to the best of my knowledge. Only occasional and typical spot-rust or surface-rust is seen. This car was a Flordia original, and has been in Texas since I and the prior owner have owned it.

Features include: Original 440 engine, Posi-trac rear-end, Woodie package, Power windows, 3rd row rear-facing seat, rear-A/C mounted on the ceiling over the backseat, (original radio and interior trim intact), floor-mounted radio dial, rare tailgate washer option (wiper blade missing).

We do have some nice pictures of the car's current shape on my reply below. The following are the pictures of the car taken by the prior owner from a few years ago. Other than the woodgrain trim on the left (drivers) side, the appearance of the car cosmetically hasn't changed much.

We are selling the car for $2500.00 OBO. I personally drove this car all over Texas as my daily driver for over a year, and it performed like a champ and never gave us a heap of trouble. The 440 sounds like the beast of Revelation, and the Torqueflight transmission still shifts pretty smooth, considering it's never been rebuilt either.

For more info about the history, VIN number or anything else, please feel free to call me at home (no later than 9 PM Central time, please) or email me also.

Thanks, and Regards,
Jonathan

thanks a lot Jim!
the classyauto one was on ebay (ended sunday with no bidding on 13k...), its too far away from cali and there are some other reasons i don`t thought about this one
the white one in new ulm is a beauty but unfortunatly its got a wrong gold front bench seat out of another car, pretty much worn blue interior with missing pieces as long as i remember (white with blue is just like my roadrunner..) the seller was nice and motivated a few month ago
the 68 one is relly nice but also far away
the 65 without engine is too much work to get it ready and back on road in my small time frame...

the one in LA was on craigslist before with some pics and i contacted the seller yesterday. looks like he is motivated to sell it to foreign people too if they come to his house with the money and so on. now i just GOT to find a shop or better a do-it-youself auto repair in the nearby area first before i think about gettin it back on the road. got to drop some mails and calling some shops down there. If anyone knows a shop in this area feel free to write it here :)
thanks people!

Hi Birdpilot,

I might have what you are looking for. It's a 1966 Town & Country with original paint, very straight. It does have a few non-original parts such as the engine, it used to be a 383 but now it has a 1966 440 and the front bench was changed to a split bench. It is an original CA black plate car spending it entire life in the Bay Area. It has new tires, suspension and brakes. I had the factory A/C rebuilt. It does have a few needs such as the interior has a few rips and tears. I do have more pictures. PM me and I'll be happy to exchange information with you. I'm in South San Francsico just next to the airport (SFO).
