I found out today that I ROC rims will not fit my 92 Roadmaster wagon so does anyone know what will fit? I want to stay GM and dont want to go with crazy chrome wheels that stand as tall as me. Will Vett rims fit maybe Im stuck with Impala SS if even those fit. Just wanting to shorten the sidewall height , add WIDTH and add some pazazz to my woody

GM RWD cars like the IROC are 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern.

Roadies take Chevy/GMC 1/2 ton 2wd Pickup wheels up to 2000 model year, Astro Vans and Caddy RWDs.

S10 wheels are 5 x 4.75, same as any other RWD GM Car. i.e. Camaro, Monte Carlo. They are not 5 x 5 that the Roadmasters take and only will work with adapters.

You might want to check over on ImpalaSSforums.com
-- lots of info there on wheel fitment.

Even saw a thread with a picture of a RMW sporting 18" wheels from a current Chrysler 300C - looked really nice.

    92 rims

Thanks for the oofer for parts but I got lucky on this woody. No Parts Needed ! Back to the wheels / rims... Is my best and easiest bet to find some Impala SS rims? No aftermarket for me please.

Jamie,I wouldn't run wheel adapters. a lot of them have have been known to come apart. I would get a set of new wheels in the style you like.

sometimes you can have the wheels drilled out to fit too. im not sure about $$$$$ but if there are wheels you like it may be worth it, look at uberwagons ride, he has some 80's chevy pickup wheels on his and i think it looks pretty good. if you decide to go the SS route, go on the impalass forum a few guys on there sell tri-shield decals that go over the chevy symbol on the center cap.

A while back looking for tire info I found this site...
    http://www.1010tires.com/wheels.asp
Which will show you what the hole pattern and size is for most cars back to 1990.

They also have an awesome tire calculator as well that will let you graphically see the difference in tire sizes.

No recommendation on buying from them as I've personally never done that...but for information they're definitely worth bookmarking.

Full size GM wagons have the "big GM bolt circle" = 5 x 5

Here are scans I made many moons ago, could come in handy when you're looking at rims from cars from 1987 and older [IMG]

GM RWD passenger cars used one of two common bolt circles. The A-body cars, F-body cars, Corvettes, and S/T trucks used the 5 x 4.75" bolt circle. The full size cars MOSTLY used the 5 x 5" bolt circle, as did SOME half ton full size pickups and the Astro vans. The full size cars get a little confusing, since prior to 1971 the Caprice/Impala line used the small bolt pattern. Oldsmobile actually went both ways, as the Jetstar 88s used the small pattern and other full size cars used the large pattern. The 1971-76 full size cars ALL used the 5 x 5" pattern, but when the cars were downsized in 1977 they went back to two patterns, small for the lesser cars and large for the heavier cars. 1977-1996 wagons all got the larger bolt pattern.

As an example, I've got a set of aluminum 15x7 wheels from a late-80s GMC half ton that fit my Custom Cruiser just fine.
