The Rev often says I'm either strange or weird, and in some ways, he's right! I'm proud of it too! Here's why. I know a little about a lot, and that's dangerous. So when I get stuck looking for a way to do something that I can't replicate like the Factory, I look in other DIY fields. Like kids' sites, Women's Craft sites, old iron-monger and hand-made carpentry sites and old cabinet radio restoration (need ideas for treating a dash with a new finish?) http://classicradiogallery.com/ http://www.pfluegers.com/ Well I found this little tidbit on the Crayola email I get a few times a month (helps improve my Cad drafting skills ) Bottom of the page: http://www.crayola.com/ "The energy burned by the brain of a two-year-old is greater than that burned at any other age." There's why they call them the Terrible Twos! Oh, and this one I like too. (Sounds like any project car, before starting up.): "All profoundly original work looks ugly or raw at first." -- Clement Greenberg Weird and Strange, oh yeah.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
And Rev said I was strange. Norman I think we are normal,Rev might be going off the rocker with all these new chebbies.
You mean he's beside himself? Out of his Fjord? Over the top? Beyond salvage? Too many babies to care and feed? Multi-tasking isn't his bag? The only known cure is to buy another Ford Wagon.
http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/home.html Now that's the pflueger to which I thought you were sending me. And if you like old radios you're going to love your visit to the cottage. I've got about a half-dozen in excellent condition. One is a really old Stromberg-Carlson I haven't seen online, with a separate speaker cabinet that has a long flat cord connecting it to the receiver that is intended to be run under carpets.
