With quite a few European members and us folk in North America seeing no limit to fuel costs, wouldn't it be useful to have a section focussed on improving fuel mileage? Tips, Whining, Alternates, and Super Mileage results! eh?

    RFO! Right freakin' on!

It hurts to see guys selling off good wagons just because the oilcos are milking the cow! I look at the new cars with more weight, more power and showing an EPA rating of 2 or 3 more MPG, when all we have to do is cross-pollenate our actual efforts!

Well done. You're a good sport! Thanks

The guys at FordSix.com's forum have done far better than that for HP and speed, without blowing up. I like the EFI idea, but a tri-carb with an exhaust-driven pair of Paxton Superchargers would get the Fuel/Air mixture up there and deliver oodles of oomph. These little sixes rate right up there for endurance with the old Mopar Slant-Six or the COrn-binder sixes. 7 mains is tough to beat on the bottom end, and Classic Inline's new Aussie head for these engines would make a humoungous difference to performance. 3 stromberg carbs (simple) and the speeding tickets would rain down!
