I've owned this car since 1997, and never knew there was a site so focussed on them! There's some sites that specialize on Mustangs (1979 and up) and others on the small LTD II (1982) and it's cousin the LTD-LX/Marquis, or MSN's Fairmont 302 forum, but this is the first I've found with detailed info (Engine specs from 1978 to 1996, brake upgrades, even those tiny front speakers tech!)

    You go in here:
    http://www.ford-fox.org/sections.php

And the Techs and Specs are here:

There's a heck of a photo diary on swapping to a T5 Standard trans from a slush-o-matic C4/AOD with all the interior changes to the column and pedals, as well as the powertrain.

    Impressive! :)

If you get in to that site you'll see they had been down a long time and they got back up just a few months ago.

I was reading the articles. Excellent one on the tranny swap. Full pictorial hand-holding on that project.

A lot of guys gave it up, I guess and went to Four-Eyed. I've almost gone through every thread, it's so small. :rofl2:
