    Hello all,

Just found and joined this site. I have a 63 plymouth 2dr conversion wagon that I am working on for street and Nostalgic S/S. Glad to be here. Len A

That ought to look great when you get it done. Are you going with a hardtop configuration or post?:Welcome:

Thanks. I am going with post sedan look. I have all the parts needed to finish it out and it really shouldn't be that hard for me to do. I am still looking for door panels though but I think I can trim my metal uppers (orig 4dr ones) for the rear and buy the panels from year one. Car has sat for many years and needs alot but is really solid and complete. I am going to go with a fury bucket set up front and keep the stock push button on dash trans.

I am definately planning on big block; either 413, 426 wedge or 440. Want to keep the pushbutton auto also. I want to go for N/SS, nostalgic super stock.

Thanks, I actually joined that website also. It takes a special bunch to love these old wagons and I am one of them. I am a diehard mopar nut but love them all and actually...cough cough my 1st wagon was a 63 Bel Air 9 passenger that I sold while in college and really miss. I actually found a picture of it online while searching 63 wagons. I sold it to a man in upper IL and not sure if its there or not still. Here is the chevy. This is the picture I found online but it is still exactly how it was when I sold it.

Of an interesting note on the 63 chevy was that when I bought it I wanted a passenger side mirror and one day while stripping a 70 dodge coronet I noticed the passenger side mirror looked just like the chevies ds mirror. When I pulled the coronets off guess what....it was a chevy mirror and was perfect match to the 63's so one the wagon it went....good to see it still there too.
